C.H.A.L.K ART FAIR

WHEN:  Friday, May 2, 2008    6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

WHERE:  Calvary Evangelical Free Church in Trumbull

WHO:  Only CHALK members may participate but you may bring family and

             friends to come enjoy the event with us.

COST:  $10. participation fee per family to defray costs

R.S.V.P.  Please let us know how many children in your family will be
               participating on or before April 15th!  There will be no late entries 

               accepted, sorry.  You are not considered signed up unless the entry

               fee is received – no exceptions!

 

 Fair guidelines:

·        Children may enter only 1 piece of artwork per medium

·        All artwork must be completed and sent in by April 25th

·        Art will be judged according to grade level

·        All artwork must be submitted with an entry form

·         

Allowable mediums for all grades:                     Grade levels:

pencil drawing and/or sketch                                         Preschool - Kindergarten

Please bring any completed art projects to Kim’s home before the April 25th deadline to be eligible for competition along with your entry form (one for each entry).  Your child may bring extra pieces of art the evening of the event to show off for all to see.  We will need you to let us know ahead of time what extra pieces you will be bringing so we can plan accordingly.

 

There will be awards handed out for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and honorable mention for each category.  Please let your children know ahead of time that this is all in fun – healthy competition is a good thing and should be encouraged to strengthen and mold character.  Each child WILL receive a participation award medal like last year’s Geography Fair, so no one will go home empty handed who participated!
