21st (Tuesday) - Moms Night Out

7:15 p.m. - 9:30 p.m

21st - TOPIC:  Question & Answer evening

This is one of our most popular topic ideas as you all get to
participate!   We will pass out 3x5 cards for you to anonymously
write down any questions you'd like answers to regarding
homeschooling.   Feedback and answers will come from the moms
in our own group!  This is always a fun evening!!

29th (Wednesday) - FIELD TRIP

WHERE:  Beardsley Zoo
1875 Noble Avenue, Bridgeport

WHAT:  We will meet together and tour the zoo
as a group.  If enough sign up, we will have a class
as well called "Animal Encounter/Animal Tool".

Animal Encounters are short (20 – 30 minute) on-grounds educational
presentations aimed at enhancing your students' field trip to the
Zoo. Your students will meet one or two live animals, see bio-facts
and learn "insider" tips to help them enjoy their zoo visit even more.

Animal Tools: An eagle's sharp talons and beak work like a knife and
fork. Otters have built-in goggles and flippers. Look through our
animal toolbox to learn more.

TIME:  10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

COST:  $7. each
If taking a class, the cost will be an additional $5. per child
as long as there are enough kids to take the class.  (The
class cost is $60. so it may be cheaper if enough sign up.)

Bring your own lunch and eat outside at the pavilion and
enjoy a carousel ride (inside) if you desire.
